Elaine Wallace & Watson Realty (aka Old City St Augustine Homes) Sold Me a Defective House!

I bought a house from Elaine Wallace and Watson Realty (aka Old City St Augustine Homes). Shortly after the closing the house shifted due to faulty engineering causing structural problems and large cracks to appear both inside and outside my home. A retaining wall failed. Walls, floors, & marble tiles are cracked. Doors and windows no longer close. I have spent 75,000+ so far to have the problems fixed and there is no end in site.

I feel duped by Watson Realty and Elaine Wallace - they left me with a defective home which has cost me over 75K and counting to repair. They were a nightmare to deal with and were only concerned with making a quick buck... If you are thinking of using Watson Realty or Elaine Wallace to buy or sell a house, stop and learn about the awful experience I had...

The problems starting showing up shortly after closing; I found out that the seller had worked to conceal the structural flaws in the house. The critical areas had been patched up so they were hidden during inspection. The original builder had done such a poor job on Elaine Wallace's own home that she threatened to ruin his name unless he fixed all the problems he left in her house. I found out later that another house he built had to be completely torn down because it was structurally unsound. Once I got to know my neighbors they told me that everyone in the community was aware of the defects in the home.

We have endured months of headaches trying to get the house fixed and the house been seriously depreciated by the stigma of structural flaws. Elaine Wallace and Watson Reality have caused me nothing but a pack of headaches and legal bills. I would not recommend Watson Realty & Elaine Wallace to my worst enemy!
